Our monthly bookkeeping package includes the following services at our base price of $1,000 /month. But sometimes you need more than just the basics. We’ve noted below what’s included in the base price and where we build on that where more expansive work is required.

  • Basic Bookkeeping: The base fee includes categorizing transactions for up to three bank / credit card accounts in QuickBooks Online and monthly reconciliations of these accounts. The base fee increases with more accounts and with more involved work such as use of third party payment apps; revenue splitting; use of classes; non-automated payroll journal entries; receipt tracking.

  • Accounts Receivable: Preparation and sending of basic invoices as needed, up to 20 invoices per month and following-up on overdue invoices so you get paid! The base price increases if you need more invoices prepared per month and/or if you have more involved invoicing needs (such as numerous rounds of edits).

  • Accounts Payable: Paying your bills as needed up to 20 bills per month and maintaining vendor relationships in QuickBooks Online. Got more bills? No problem! For a higher rate, we can expand this service to accommodate as much bill-pay as you need.

  • Cash Analysis and Management: If your business is profitable, let us take care of the timing. We will pay all your bills on time and never overdraw your bank account. 

  • Monthly Check-In: This is optional, but we highly recommend it, as we’re super fun! We’ll schedule a phone call/Zoom at your convenience to review the past month’s finances and future projections together.

  • Additional hour of support for any bookkeeping need: Sometimes small projects crop up, such as a workers comp audit or filling out an insurance application. We’ve got your back. And for any project that exceeds that hour, we are happy to perform extra-retainer work for our hourly rate of $150/hr.

  • Management and systems recommendations

  • $150/hr for custom requests and non-recurring monthly tasks

  • Clean-up of prior periods ($500/month)

  • Migrating your QuickBooks Desktop account to Quickbooks Online ($500/month)


FOR NON-PROFITS

  • Tracking transactions by category as well as class (programmatic, G&A, and fundraising; this breakdown is required on the 990 return)
